Milhench Supply Company, based in New Bedford, MA, is looking for an Outside Salesperson.  Milhench Supply Company, established in 1932, is a growing third generation family owned and operated business distributing janitorial, paper, packaging, and maintenance supplies throughout New England.  We pride ourselves on our strong customer service and our long-term relationships with our customers, suppliers, and especially our employees.

We are looking for someone who is sales oriented, open to calling on new and existing accounts, quick to learn our products and services, able to build strong and trusting relationships with our customers.  Experience in sales is a plus. Skills for the ideal candidate:

• Comfortable calling on potential accounts either in person, by phone or email.
• Good at networking and identifying strong potential customers.
• Able to accept and process orders, trouble shoot, solve problems and demonstrate new products.
• Work closely with Milhench customer service reps.
• Coordinate deliveries and logistics with our warehouse team and truck drivers.
• Communicate with all aspects of our company to efficiently handle customer needs including the accounting department, purchasing and operations.
• Work well as a team with the entire company.
• Learn our product lines quickly including disposable products, dispensers, and equipment.
• Be familiar with all our services including inventory management and equipment repair.
• Learn our ERP System DDI (Inform).

Details on the job:

• Full time position.
• Mostly “on the road” with office work remote.
• Compensation depends on experience. Combination salary/commission.
